This has been such a surreal experience! One million thank yous! Still cannot believe this.
I was given a truck with 294,000 miles and a slow, untraceable oil leak when I was 21; other than that, I’ve never owned my own car. Let alone a brand new one! That I won!
I was disc golfing, which I try to do every day (one would think I did better) when I got a call from Burbank and I was told I’d be on the contestant list! Pretty floored, but they told me to be patient which is not what the P in PJ stands for.
Fast forward to when I got my tape day information, it feels like it all happened so fast.
I was done with my game and celebrating with In-N-Out Burger before noon! Then played the oldest permanent disc golfing course in the world.
It’s only March and it’s been the best year of my life!
To top it all off my wife, my beautiful wife Katey…
Encouraged me to go to the open casting at Tachi and manifested all of this. We have been sharing one car with our family of four (and 3 dogs). This woman is a superhero, works in the restaurant industry, 60+ hours a week and is commuting. And being the klutz that I am, I hurt myself at work and have become what she calls “house manager.” As a stay home dad I call it “chaos coordinator.”
Or “dad, STAY HOME” haha jk jk
Seriously though do not get hurt at work.
I am blessed to be able to walk limp free after an ankle surgery on each ankle in a little over a 2 year span. As a result, most of the gifts and treats I give her are handmade or “heart felt home crafts”.
Anywell, she has a significant birthday coming up and I will be able to take her on the vacation she deserves. She deserves royal treatment because she is my Queen.
By the way when we met I had mustache and lets just say it was not love at first sight, for her.
I was head over heels the moment I saw her, so for our second date I was clean shaven and we have been together ever since! It’ll be 20 years this fall (blissfully married for 11)
Like I say every day, I’m more blessed than I deserve. Thank you again! And I love you Katey.
