The experience was so surreal! I applied to be on the Disney Holiday episode and was thrilled when I was offered a virtual audition the following week. Once I made it through the audition process and received the official email saying I was chosen, I had to pinch myself. I just kept repeating, “Oh my god,” over and over to my boyfriend. He thought something was seriously wrong—until I handed him my phone with the official email. Then he kept repeating, “Oh my god!”—haha!

This has been my lifelong dream. I called my parents right away, and my mom was all in to come with me.

I have the game downloaded on my phone and play every day, and I also watch Wheel of Fortune every single night. Once I found out I was going to be on the Disney Holiday episode, I put my annual pass to good use—visiting the theme parks to study all the characters and everything Disney!

My workplace was so thrilled for me—they’re throwing a Wheel Watchers Party in my honor! My family lives in both PA and NH, so they’re having their own parties with their friends too. I’ll also be Zooming with them during the show!

Growing up, my dad and I watched Wheel every night—first The Muppets at 7:00 PM, and then Wheel at 7:30—so to get this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is something I could only ever dream about.

From the moment I arrived, it was non-stop laughter with the other contestants, and the whole production team made it super fun. It was so cool to see how they put the entire show together, and I still feel like I’m on cloud nine.

And meeting Vanna and Ryan? That was the icing on the cake. They are the most humble and sweetest human beings on the planet.
