This whole experience from start to finish was a dream!
Finding out that I made the show was actually crazy timing. About a month after I had my second Zoom interview, I got a call — and with the time difference, it was later in the day here in NJ. My husband and I had just left the local pharmacy because we had such awful colds… but getting that email saying I made it and had a tape date was better than any medicine and made us feel 100% again, haha!
From that day forward, I practiced on the way to and from work and said to myself, Regardless of what happens, I want to have this story to share for the rest of my life.
I want to say my favorite part about my film day was how the crew and other cast members all interacted like a big family. The production team cheering us on, helping us, and the rehearsals — it was such an adrenaline rush!
I recently bought my first home, so I’m throwing a premiere/housewarming party, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect! I had fun and a few good laughs during my episode, and no one will be surprised — I’m full of laughs in my everyday life!
Lastly, I want to tell everyone: if being on Wheel is even a small thought, GO FOR IT!
It’s a bucket list item and an all-around blast just to be on the actual stage!
