Hi! I'm Lillian from Olive Branch, MS. I have watched Wheel of Fortune for as long as I can remember, so basically my whole life! My Dad has always loved watching the show (I think because he likes Vanna)! I can remember as a child sitting in my Daddy's lap watching the show with him. I became pretty good at solving the puzzles through all my years of watching. My Dad would always say, "We have got to get you on that show!" Well I never thought I actually would! I got a letter for my second audition in Knoxville, TN. I was so excited, but I almost missed my audition!
My sister and I decided to make a little 2-day trip out of it. So we drove to Nashville and picked up her best friend. We were stopped in traffic in Nashville for a long while, and finally heard that the traffic would not be moving for hours! We finally detoured around the stopped traffic and were headed to Knoxville. We were about 30 minutes away and were all hungry for lunch. We were trying to figure out where we were going to eat... THEN we realized that the time changed! We had no time to eat because I had to be at my audition in about 45 minutes, not an hour and 45 minutes! So I made it to the audition 15 minutes before I had to be there and made it through all the stages that day, and then made it all the way to sunny California! Watch me spin on January 14th!

The day of the taping of my show, I was very, very nervous. I didn't have any idea how it would be, how I would I do, would I win the million?! My thoughts of how the stage and set would look were totally wrong. I thought it was going to be this HUGE wheel and set, but it wasn't. The wheel was relatively small, but still very heavy and hard to spin. The set was a lot smaller too!
Pat was very nice and funny during our taping. I loved getting to stand right next to him. Vanna was so down to earth. She even came in during our rehearsal with the contestant coordinators, in her regular clothes and no make-up, just to say Hi and to wish us good luck. She was still beautiful!
I was on the first episode that recorded that day, which I really hoped that I wouldn't. Oh well, that's the way the cards fell that day. I was even more nervous during my taping and as I kept solving the puzzles. It was so much harder than I thought it would be! I am so happy that I got to have this experience, and it is definitely something that I will never forget. I am excited about my winnings, and I hope to take my husband on a nice well deserved trip!
