From start to finish my experience on Wheel of Fortune was a blast!  I enjoyed everything from meeting everyone associated with the show, to meeting the other contestants, and of course competing.

When I think about the game itself (I'm writing this before seeing the show on television) I don't recall much outside of the solutions to the puzzle's I solved.  The only letter I remember calling outside of the final puzzle was  "L" in Before and...

I’m a third generation Wheel Watcher! From my living room growing up to watching with my own children now, Wheel has been a part of my life. To this day, I enjoy watching Wheel with my dad who tries to guess Vanna’s dress color every night!

When the scrolling message on the bottom of my tv came up that the Wheel Mobile would be in Boston I just had to go! My tween daughter and I packed up and headed 2 hours south to Beantown where I waited my turn, along...

What is your Wheel story / what made you apply to be on Wheel?

My family and I have been watching the show for years...and WE LOVE IT!!  Last January, we were sitting around the TV playing along with the contestants, and I blurted the answer out before my 12 year old son, Tayt, could solve it.  I did the same thing on the next puzzle, so he told me that I HAD to submit a video to tryout for the show.  I agreed, but a month later, he called me out on it....

My Wheel of Fortune adventure lasted about six weeks.  It started when I received an email from the Wheel Watchers Club announcing they were hosting their Wheelmobile event at the end of October 2017 in Oak Creek, WI, which is just a little over an hour drive from where I live.  I almost didn’t go because of the drive but my 14-year-old daughter strongly encouraged we go.  So off we went!

When the Wheelmobile event started, I listened intently to...

I can’t believe I was asked to write a blog post about my experience on Wheel of Fortune.  In short…it was incredible!  First off, I want to say from the minute I submitted my silly audition video to the second I stepped foot off the Wheel set in LA, every single person I encountered was beyond friendly.  The contestant staff, set crew, Pat, Vanna, and Jim Thornton are all wonderful people and I am so lucky to have been part of such a welcoming show!  It...

Who in their right mind expects to be writing their Wheel of Fortune story, for the Wheel of Fortune website, about their appearance on WHEEL…OF…FORTUNE?!?  And yet, here we are. What a wild, wonderful trip it has been!

Like many people, I’ve been watching Wheel for as long as I can remember. From watching with my parents as a child to lazy evenings in the fraternity house during college, Wheel has been a mainstay on my TV. Like all of those who...

*What is your Wheel story / what made you apply to be on Wheel?

When I was growing up, 6:30 was considered dinner time and Wheel of Fortune time with my parents. Our competitive sides would always come out to see who could solve the puzzle first. It would always crack me up at the beginning of the puzzles when someone would say, “I think the puzzle is ______ ______ and _______.” So much insight on the puzzle ha ha! I applied because this was always my...

I’m sitting in my the car on a hot muggy summer Houston day with my mother/ best friend (Debra), and I get an email that says I’ve been selected to attend a Wheel of Fortune Audition! I immediately turn to my mom an express my shock, happiness, and disbelief. Is this real, could I possibly be selected for the show my grandmother (Iona) faithfully watched and that I loved for years? I just keep thinking to myself maybe it’s a mistake, I submitted an online audition...

My name is Steve Meyer and I’ve been asked to do a blog on my experience with Wheel of Fortune. I appear on the November 20th show, but I’m writing on the 10th; some of what I’m writing is from memory and that might be a bit foggy, but you’ll get the gist.

To start, a bit about myself. I’m 55 years old. I was born and raised outside Toronto, Canada. I went to college in the city and then earned my...

To say that being on Wheel Of Fortune was a dream come true would be a lie, because I never even imagined that I would be lucky enough to get to audition for the show! Our Wheel of Fortune story is actually quite funny. My uncle sent in an audition tape of my grandma, who I call “Yaya”, watching and playing Wheel while throwing the toy for our dog, Sweet Pea, as she always does on Wednesday nights. She didn’t know about the tape, so she was pleasantly surprised (and...
