"WHEEL OF FORTUNE" SAYS ALOHA TO HAWAII'S BIG ISLAND FOR
20 SHOWS TO AIR IN NOVEMBER
Culver City (October 20, 2008) - Wheel of Fortune, America's #1 game show, packed up and went across the ocean to Hawaii's Big Island to tape 20 shows from the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa Village.
All of the shows, which were shot outdoors at sunset through the evening hours, will feature contestants from the islands (a full list of contestants and hometowns is below) and will air in November.
The first week of shows, "Hawaii's Big Island" (airing November 5-7 and November 10-11). These five shows will feature all Hawaiian residents. A full list of the contestants and their hometowns are below.
The festivities continue with "Best Friends Week" (airing November 12-14 and November 17-18). These five shows will feature island buddies playing together. A full list of the contestants and their hometowns are below.
The third week is "Wheel Goes Waikoloa" (airing November 19-21 and November 24-25). A full list of the contestants and their hometowns are below.
The fourth week of shows, "Second Honeymoon" will air in February 2009.
